So, tasteful decor, warm welcome, simple but exquisite menu and no poncey trappings... Awesome!!! I kinda went off menu (because I'm a pain in the a*se, not because the menu warranted that approach) but had my requirements met with grace and aplomb. Fillet steaks all round, cooked to perfection, and wonderful puds, and wine that tasted like angels had made... More

We went once a couple of years ago but have never been back because it is never clear when it is open or not and any attempts to ring and book a table have failed. If you can get in though it is lovely and we'll worth a visit.

My husband and I were very warmly greeted by one of the owners who made us feel very welcome. The menu had something for everyone and I loved the complimentary amuse bouche. Food was cooked perfectly (I like my steak medium rare and this was perfect) and everything was home-made with a lovely selection of breads and rolls. We would... More

Despite living in Carlisle for a number of years this was our first visit to No 10, we were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed by the waitress who offered us a selection of tables. The service was attentive but not hurried. We were pleasantly surprised to be served with a delicious appetiser of goats cheese, beetroot and balsamic vinegar pearls before... Just returned from No 10....had a beautiful meal with my family. The slow roasted pork was to die for.... At 29.50 per head superb value for money. Great wine and excellent personal service. The restaurant is warm and cosy, we will definitely be back. If I`m honest I cant understand why we don't go more often as there is such... More

Two of went for the christmas menu it was three courses for 29.50. Plenty of choices on the menu. Brilliant service from staff. Inside nicely decorated and we had a choice of tables. Portion sizes were fine and it was very filling. Little bit pricy but we were expecting that before we went - wine is a little expensive. Good... More

The place is very nice but food was just ok nothing special had pork main whick was dry and ginger panna cotta for dessert which wasn't nice thought it would be flavoured with ginger instead of having big chunks of ginger ( not nice) which was just far to strong and I love ginger don't think we would go again

Took over the whole of the restaurant for my wife's birthday on the 3rd November. This restaurant is without doubt the best fine dining restaurant in the city. I am surprised at one of the comments regarding the amount of food. I have 2 large 6 foot men for sons and they were both well satisfied with the amount of... More
