Curry is always good here - the two things that i dislike though is the noise (it is only a small restaurant and the noise seems to travel) and the toilets which could do with a good makeover to say the least!!

Went tonight with family. Got there for opening at 5. When we got there we asked got a high chair and everyone looked confused like we had asked for a million pounds. Finally got one. When ordering food we had to repeat ourselves a few times. Food came. Average. Chicken tasted really cheap. Bit into the tikka starter and it... More

Used this takaway a few times now. Its better than most local others. The style of Cooking is predominantly Bengali cuisine with some popular newcomers thrown in. The foods ok but it's not good as the currys in longsight or Rusholme.

By pure coincidence my husband and I ended up dining in Mhariam two consecutive evenings this week with different groups of friends! You might think we would be put off, but no the food is of such a high standard, great combinations of flavours and textures, we loved the second night just as much as the first even though we... We went for a rare date elsewhere and ended up in Mhariam instead. We were treated really well, dairy intolerance was respected and not a problem and the food was very nice. It was full of flavour and no skimping on meat etc. Thank you for a lovely night.

Brilliant food, lovely staff and a bring your own booze policy (with no corkage fee nonsense), with bargain booze two doors down. My girlfriend loves that it is an open kitchen as well.

Impossible to fault this restaurant (unless of course you forget it's cash only and you've forgotten to go to the cash machine, just 2 minutes away!) I've almost gone through the whole menu by now and have yet to find a dish I wouldn't order again. Bilal (the owner) makes everyone feel very welcome and has high standards and is... More
