Wonderful food - best salmon I have ever tasted. Lovely pub, super service. Landlord very nice (and cheeky too !!!). The Lady Grey (Lady Boy) tea was very nice too thank you very much !!! Intended on one visit but had to go back again...More

Visited today after seeing other reviews. Really good Sunday lunch, service great from landlord. Would definitely go back when in the area.

We booked for a family celebration of 14 adults & 2 Children. Meal itself was lovely although a liitle expensive, service was superb, all meals came out together which is unusual for a big party & the pub itself was lovely, would defintly recommend

We visited The Bryherstones on the evening of 4th April. We have nothing but praise for the welcoming atmosphere and the excellent food. It is good to see this - perhaps slightly off the beaten track - pub doing well.

My wife and I had a late lunch at Bryherstones and could not fault the meal or the service. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Used to go here years ago when the same family as own it now used to run it In between times it struggled and eventually closed, but came back to life when the original owners bought it back. Really pleased to have found this again...More
