Fantastic olde worlde ambience from the moment you walk through the door. Lovely location, gorgeous homely log fire, friendly obliging staff, great food. A real "must go" if you've not already had the pleasure, you'll not be disappointed.

After reading reviews I decided to take my wife here for her birthday. I was not dissapointed. Excellent food and very friendly staff. A good proper pub. It is located about 5 miles out of Scarboriough but well worth a visit.
