Visited recently food okay but couldn't eat it all. The lovely young lady who was serving our food said she would wrap up what we couldn't eat. My husband went to pay by card the machine wouldn't work my husband was left about 20mins waiting then when we paid by cash my husband forgot the wrap up. I phoned them... More

Not enough tea to sustain us during the lengthy wait for the meal. Toast served with unwanted matter on one corner which had to be sent back. Card reader failed and we were expected to leave the cafe and return with cash - the suggestion was that we undertook this immediately. Furthermore, we were asked for our vehicle registration! Glazebury... More

I visited with a friend on Sunday having had no other food that day. My friends pannini had hairs all over the bottom so sent it back. I had the ploughman's lunch and within an 15 minutes of eating I felt nauseous. Within two hours I was vomiting and had extremely severe diarrhea. Two days later I'm off work and... More

Hi Helen have read your review on trip advisor and i must say your comments are exaggerated and unfounded. The one hair found on your pannini turned out to be hair from mushrooms which were cooked on the same grill and were bought in fresh that day from a local farmers market, they were not human hair as you are... Very poor servce, staff to busy talking to themselves. Had to wair 15 minutes for 2 coffees and it wast busy, When the coffee came we weren't offered any sugar. The wife had to negotiate her way passed the gabbing staff members to look for some. They asked the wife what she wanted and said WHITE and pushed a bowl... More

What a lovely experience - really enjoyed myself. The service was excellent as was the food. The staff were friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to make our visit a pleasant one. Endless tea top-ups which were very welcome and enjoyable. Will definitely visit again soon. Thank you very much.

Came with friends for a spot of lunch. I ordered a large Americano with a toasted tea cake, friends ordered jacket potatoes which came out microwaved 😕...coffee was awful and no way worth £2.70. Plus it came out well before food so it was drunk before we'd eaten. It's a shame as it could be lovely

Overpriced, poor service - don't bother going. Don't waste your time or money. Scones are not homemade - are bought in from Costco. We waited 30 mins to be brought a cup of tea and coffee - service was shockingly poor with 5 staff stood in the 'kitchen' area texting. Your 'cook doesn't bake so your 'home-made' signage is inaccurate.... More

Sunday 1330 ish, was pleased to see the sign outside " Now Serving Breakfast" after reading the menu I chose my breakfast and was informed that they had stopped doing breakfast for the day ..... Re read the menu and settled on the pie of the day although it strangely came with a jacket potato with either baked beans or... More

£6.99 for a sandwich with a bit of chicken and bacon and the smallest side salad possible. Ridiculously over priced. Waitress very pleasant though!

This used to be a really nice tea room with good service but has recently deteriorated. The service is terrible, on our visit there was only one other table occupied but the 3 young women were just stood in the kitchen on their mobile phones, so we had to shout someone after 10 minutes to take our order. The food... More
