Having been here before we were returning from a Badminton game and decided to have a meal. Not booked a table but within 10 minutes we were sorted. The meal a usual was of a high standard with excellent service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. All the meals can be arranged to meet any palate. Value for money.... More

Great from start to finish.. After regularly eating at the Raj in culcheth where the service has slowly gone down hill and on our last visit we were treated terribly, we decided to head into Warrington to The cottage. The tudor part of the restaurant is amazing and is tastefully decorated. We were quickly taken to our seat. This part... More

Have heard about this place and always said would give it a try, my only regret is that I left it until now. what an amazing place. From outside you would expect it to be very dated inside. Wrong, inside it is modern and very tastefully decorated. Food was excellent and service was good, will definitely be going back and... More

The cottage is always a winner if you're entertaining guests from out of town with a taste for Indian food. Great menu, reasonably priced and good friendly service. Menu is not 'common' some nice varied dishes on there - I only do mild (bit of a wimp) but still a delicious meal and cater for every level of 'heat'. Ten... More

Great building! Looked lovely inside and we were lucky enough to get one of the plush booths. The food was good, all 5 of us started with the mixed grill and I had the chicken biryani which was tasty and had lots of chicken. We weren't rushed to leave the table, staff were polite and unobtrusive. I would go again... More

This restaurant is in a grade II listed building on the main A57 just on the edge of the main town (Manchester/east side). Entering through a heavy old door you walk into the reception and then a small but comfortable bar in the oldest part of the building; dating back to the times of Oliver Cromwell who stayed here after... Me and my Girlfriend weren't able to go for a Valentine's Day meal due to other commitments, however The Cottage Indian were happy to serve us the Valentine's offer on Monday (13th Feb) evening instead, we really appreciated this as it's our favourite restaurant in Warrington. My favourite main dish is the Lamb South Indian, it's a pretty spicy dish,... More
