Great location in the centre of town. Walking distance to the train station and easy parking close by. New owners took over early April and have made some great changes. Restaurant & bar are welcoming and comfortable. Local produce freshly prepared. Staff are bubbly and eager to please. Food it excellent value.

Good range of home made soup advertised. Prompt friendly service. Soup hot and tasty - perfect for a cold day. Quite dark decor with tables very close together. Clean toilets. Good stop for travellers.

£9.95 for a roast dinner- frozen peas, frozen carrots, smash mash yucky, frozen roast potatoes , frozen Yorkshire puddings. Disgrace asking for £9.95 for a frozen dinner with a tiny scoop of smash potatoe substitute. We were the only couple there and it took ages and the girl behind the bar was outside smoking with the guy from the kitchen... More

Me and the BF found ourselves in Lockerbie meeting up with family. Not being familiar with the area we were swayed by the advertised Sunday roast for £9.95. Wish I had visited TripAdvisor first! The beef roast dinner was average, not worth £9.95, frozen veg, small frozen roast potatoes, frozen Yorkshire pud the smallest I have seen in a long... More

We were on our travels and met up with my brother and his missus who were in the same "neck of the woods", Lockerbie being the chosen meeting point. Having spent the afternoon walking, which had built up an appetite, we were enticed by the advertised roast beef Sunday dinner on offer for £9.95. Three of us went for this... More

I won't go into massive detail but I won't be visiting The Crown Hotel again. You walk into the pub and everyone stops and stares at you. It goes silent if you aren't a local. I'll let the picture do the talking, for £9.95 I was shocked to find Aunt Bessie's Frozen potatoes, Smash and let's not talk about how... More
