This is a lovely pub in the sticks. Food was excellent and a good wine list. Staff friendly. Nothing negative to say about it.

A family meal on a Sunday night and whilst the food was good the service was very slow. There were plenty of staff so not sure what the problem was but they seemed to be happier chatting amongst themselves than serving. It would put me off from going again.

Dropped in for a lunchtime break from driving north on the M6. Just 15 mins from exit 18 heading north, this peaceful spot is a world away from the stress of the busy motorway and a much nicer options than queuing up in a service station. I had a chicken Caesar and my travelling companions had aubergine, cheese and tomatoes... More
