Simple concept well executed. Pie and chips is simple and well liked. Nice selection of good quality pies with lovely chips at a very reasonable price. The banter and atmsphere make it a very pleasant experience.

Interesting place with lots of military memorabilia. Pies were excellent but the beer was very warm though. Mine host would take a bit of getting to know.

This bar supplies exactly what is expected. Good beer and pies at reasonable prices. There are several different pies available. Tasty, but quite small. Chips were good. Baked beans or mushy pees available as extras. There are no desserts. Good for what it is.

Description
This bar/restaurant haz a lovely feel about it. There is a small bar with an open fire. Speciality food..pies. A variety of pies to choose from including vegetarian fillings. The supplier provides the uncooked pies and the bar cook them. We were told exactly how long we would need to wait before we could eaf right from the start. All pies served with chips anx and cost about £7.25ish. Beans and gravy cost extra. Tbe pies are to die for.
