Very rude waitress with attitude. Really uncomfortable atmosphere. Waitress was angry and sarcastic, treated us awfully. Why would we pay money to be treated like that (for no reason).

Growing up in the area i always visited the Dirty Duck and when i found out it was re furbished and a restaurant i wanted to try it. First look at the Restaurant they developed and refurbished it to such nice standards which impressed me straight away but the service and food was a massive disappointment. Service was slow and... We enjoyed a very pleasant Easter Sunday lunch here today. Upon arriving we were greeted nicely and shown to our table. We didn't have to wait long to be served. The butternut squash soup, ham hock and pea terrine, roast beef and salmon dishes were all delicious, well presented and we had no issues with delivery times. Staff were friendly... More

A pub in a beautiful setting and that's about it. Amateur service without a smile. Less than average food at a well over extortionate price, they certainly know how to charge! We thought we'd give it a second chance after our first visit but alas it has gone down hill during that time. More like a kennel than a pub... More

Lovely meal, new menu and the décor is really nice. Good view of Belvoir Castle. Nice tables outside, friendly, helpful staff. Will call in again.

Been waiting a long time for this pub to re-open as the location is great but the food is mediocre and bar staff unwelcoming. Fine for a pint and a bag of crisps after a walk along the canal.

When you make the effort to go somewhere, the way you are received when you get there determines whether or not you return and what you tell others about your experience. You would consider it a wasted effort, when the bar staff couldn't care less. That's the feeling we got when we stopped for refreshment here. The bar person (maid),... More

Our first visit since refurbished, what a lovely environment to have a drink in the Vale of Belvoir. Really impressed with the vision and the ambition to create a fabulous drinking and dining experience in this fabulous location. The food was however disappointing, really below average compared with other pubs in the area, would love to return but only for... More

I dearly wanted to give a full five stars after receiving excellent service and delicious food from the unbelievably hard worked young ladies on duty. Wednesday was a seniors special menu day, which my three friends really enjoyed, with both quality and quantity evident. Possibly the management hadn't spotted the forecasted good weather which, coupled with the seniors promotion, would... More
