Had a bit of a wait to get seated as we had not booked but that was a mistake we won't repeat. Good, friendly service. Lovely views over the countryside. Good variety of food on offer & what we had was very tasty. Will definitely return.

Met my Aunt for lunch, pricey food was disappointing. Not a lot of choice, very expensive and not well presented. In fairness they reduced the bill, but will not return. Try Belton Garden Centre much nicer and better value :)

Delicious home cooked food. We had a mix of special (tomato and veg risotto), jacket potatoes and ploughman's platter. No complaints from anyone. Good range of choices. Unfortunately no room for cakes / puddings, so will call again next time we are passing.

I visited for a Christmas lunch with a group. I started with crab cakes. The first one had small crunchy bits in it and after a couple of mouthfuls I was horrified to find a long black hair appearing from under the food. They brought me a second plateful and I found myself biting down on a hard lump, presumably... More

I have visited other places in the immediate area but this is definitely my favourite. The food is home cooked, locally sourced and full of flavour. The prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly. The Sunday lunch is proper roasted meat, and served with a good selection of vegetables, roast potatoes and parsnips. I had the leek and potato... More

Have visited here a few times over last few months and have been really impressed every time. This is an oasis of calm and really pleasant environment in an area that can be a bit lacking on such places. My only hesitation is that in recommending it will get even more popular.

I called with my Mum and sister about midday today for a bit of lunch. After standing waiting for about 5 or 10 minutes to be seated in an area that only had 3 tables occupied and staff that seemed oblivious to our presence we were shouted at from behind the counter to take the table against the window. The... More

We visited the farm shop on a Sunday afternoon looking for something to eat and were not disappointed! We both had the smoked salmon and prawn salad which was huge and delicious! We then saw signs for pick your own raspberries and currants and decided to go down to the fields. Although it was late in the day there were... More

We've driven past the pick your own signs since we moved to Grantham 3 months ago and today we finally found time to pop in. After a quick look around the farm shop we sat down to have a late lunch/ afternoon tea. The cakes looked delicious. We asked if it was table or counter service. Sadly it wasn't to... More

I am sorry our farm shop and café did not meet with your approval today. During the summer months we tables outside when the weather is good and these are for customers to come into the shop to order at the counter and pay and then the drinks and food are brought out. The tables in the café are waitress... More
