What a surprising find ! Staying in the area we had driven past the day before vowing to come back for breakfast as even from the outside it looked appealing. We weren't disappointed. Great Cafe, open, comfortable and welcoming with nice staff and the Breakfast ??! Full English was exactly that and the sharing platter has to be seen to... More

This is the place to pop in for real leaf tea ( brilliant choice) and excellent cakes and bread. During our stay we visited twice The vanilla slice was heaven. At lunch I had the pork pie ploughman's which was a delight with all the extras. Bet you buy something to take home from the bakery.

Very good tea room with meals served as well. As well as stopping for coffee we always buy our lunch here - sandwiches made for you while you wait. Also a good selection of ready meals in the cold cupboard + a large display of teas and coffees and other gift ideas.

Whether for coffee or food this is a great place to stop at. Really good value 2 course lunches. Sticky toffee highly recommended, plus enough to share.

Had a nice walk from Kents Bank on a beautiful morning so we arrived at Hazelmere and ordered two Hazelmere breakfasts with a pot of tea. The breakfast included toast and marmalade. Service was superb and served by friendly staff. The cafe was packed. A great place to stop and recharge batteries for the return walk

We stopped here for a light lunch having taken the road less travelled from Windermere to Lancaster. The cafe is part of the bakery both of which provide a huge array of choices. We selected the soup of the day - carrot and zucchini(courgette). Lightly spiced it came with a selection of breads from the bakery. YUM!!

The Hazelmere combines a café, bakery and deli. The café serves an imaginatively wide selection of teas and coffees from all around the world with tasting notes and a strength guide; together with cakes and pastries from the bakery and hot and cold meals, snacks and afternoon teas. The cafe is bright and with friendly efficient service. The bakery serves... More

It's popularity means it can be busy lunchtimes, even mid week and out of season. You may have to queue and wait for a table to become available. Welcomes well behaved dogs that know how to remain discrete. Lovely choice of teas for which it is renown. There is an extensive menu from snacks to meals, but the portions are... More

Visited here after a walk along the promenade. My sister and brother in law have been here several times and enjoyed everything the had eaten. We all had scones with jam which tasted amazing and the plate was decorated beautifully with fresh fruits. The cafe serves lots of different teas from around the world; I have never seen such a...
