Dropped in not expecting much during a downfall of rain. Ordered soup and a cheese toasty. So exceeded expectations we were delighted. Don't pass this one by.

Great little café selling a good selection of coffees, teas and cake. Nicely decorated, with a cosy atmosphere.

We visited this cafe as it allowed dogs. Although a small place it was comfortable and the coffee was very good.

Went to Brown Sugar for a quick lunch after getting the ferry over from Polruan after a 3 hour walk. Great toasties and soups and such nice friendly staff. The smoked haddock and bacon chowder was one of the most delicious soups that I've ever tasted. Games on the table to play while you wait is a lovely idea. We... More

Popped in for a cheeky warm drink and slice of cake, whilst waiting for my friend to finish work. The staff were very friendly and brought my drink over to me. I opted for slice of Victoria sponge cake which was a very generous slice.

Great service. I had the cheese and mushroom toasted panini and you could tell the mushrooms were locally sourced as they had such a great flavour. My step-daughter had the Mediterranean toasted panini, which is vegan. It was packed with delicious olives. My husband had a chowder, which he thoroughly enjoyed. The middle table upstairs is great for people watching.

Visited for a drink on a Saturday afternoon. Comfortable seating and a good choice of drinks. We also had some of the cake displayed on the counter - lemon drizzle and a salted caramel brownie. Both were delicious. Friendly staff. Would visit again.

We tend to come to Fowey about twice a year and eat out frequently for breakfast. This was my first time at Brown Sugar and I decided to order The Hungry One (full English). My goodness, what a meal - I couldn't finish it! And only £7.50?! What a delicious pairing of great British foods it was. The coffee was... More

Nipped here for lunch with parents after wondering around the hilly little town. 2 had panini's and I had the sausage and red onion chutney, hubby had the smoked haddock and bacon chowder which he thoroughly enjoyed. Coffee was excellent too!
