A lovely afternoon tea. The service was polite, efficient and welcoming. The afternoon tea was all delicious. The sandwiches were not dry as many others are from being made too far ahead, and the balance of flavours a bit different without being too adventurous. Scones...More

We would love to welcome your family for tea. Afternoon tea for young children is £15. Just let us know when booking if your children need plain sandwiches.

Great Fosters offers one of the most beautiful locations for afternoon tea in Surrey. Indulge in the most English of traditions whilst enjoying the view over the hotel's 50 acres of gardens or in the winter months sink into a comfortable sofa in front of one of our fires. Afternoon tea is served in the Cocktail Bar, Main Hall, The Tudor Room and Anne Boleyn. During the Summer months we also serve tea on the terraces overlooking our stunning gardens. Afternoon tea is available at either 2pm, 2.15pm and 2.30pm or 4.30, 4.45pm and 5pm and you are welcome to keep your table for up to two hours. Afternoon tea is very popular and we strongly suggest that a table is reserved in advance to avoid disappointment. We're able to accommodate a maximum of ten guests on any one table. Our afternoon tea includes a selection of sandwiches on homemade breads, scones with clotted cream and jam, a miniature Victoria sponge, a selection of patisserie and your choice of tea and coffee. We are very happy to accommodate any vegetarian, gluten free or other special diets with prior notice.
