This is how Pubs should be, relaxed atmosphere, comfy chairs, little nooks and crannys and great quality beer. What's not to like

This used to be a lovely pub and very community minded. However, since Stuart and Graham left, it was taken over by the landlord from the Gardners Arms and run into the ground. The community groups who used to meet there have now relocated, and the atmosphere and food went downhill. So, you can imagine we were delighted when (after... More

Came for a few pints as heard good things. Won't be back though, very odd place with a lot of beer not available, a lot of dirty glasses everywhere.

Cosy atmosphere, good selection of booze and great hosts. The Old Cock Inn is an extremely good old fashioned and friendly pub. The toilets were spotless and the service is top notch.

I l;ove this pub. The choice of beers and the quality of the food. It has changed hands recently and has changed but it has all the qualities of a real homely pub. Regularly meet there with old friends.

Nice inside but charged £6 for a double when I ordered a £3.50 single, not OK. Luckily manager gave me a refund after asking.

We meet here most Friday's for a few beers and are always made most welcome by Graham and Stuart. The beer selection is good and the evening basket meals are substantial. It's always lively with live music freely available on many occasions. Well worth the visit 😀

Stop that sniggering. Yes it's really called that. Got that out of your system? Good. Lets continue. A nice place that is opposite where my in-laws live. I'm surprised we've not been here more before now. Organising a meetup in Droitwich, my husbands home town, I asked we go here instead of our usual haunt, more for convenience that anything... More

The beer is good and reasonably priced but I think they should add sandwiches in addition to their pie only menu. The staff and publicans are very nice and always have a smile. You must keep you eye out for the excellent music evenings.

The Old Cock Inn situated on one of Droitwich's most historical streets has had a long standing positive reputation for great food, today Graham & Stuart who run this humble traditional inn pride themselves in bringing this community pub to life with good quality real ales (showcasing 3-4 each day), humble freshly cooked pub grub and entertainment. The 18th Century Inn which celebrated its 300 years in 2012 has an ethos of good quality, affordable informal pub food. Coupled with at least 3 well kept real ales as well as their beautifully historic surroundings and relaxed, friendly atmosphere it really does create a traditional, real British pub experience, well worth visiting.
The concept of food at the pub is to change dramatically in August 2014 to shadow the pubs reputation and concept today, with a simple food offer being introduced.
Please note The Old Cock Inn is not a restaurant and has not been for the past 3 years.

The Old Cock Inn is more than just a pub as it is a hub of the community, serving ales and food, we are not in any way gastro or a restaurant but do believe in quality, friendliness and making sure people enjoy themselves.
Your sure of a warm welcome.
