We stopped here for dinner while driving home on the M5. The food was delicious and the woman who served us was very friendly. We were very grateful to them as we were starving and it was late - they were about to close when we arrived but kindly stayed open for us.

I have never eaten a Vegetarian Indian meal before and my husband is a big meat man so was not sure what to expect but we need not have worried. The food was excellent. I am also Gluten free but this did not pose a problem either. The meal was hotter than I would usually eat but each mouthful I... More

Stumbled across Mendi when looking for somewhere to eat as we were travelling down the M5. It's definitely worth shunning the neighbouring McDonalds and Harvester in favour of this wonderful little place. The menu is fully vegetarian, and despite both of us being meat eaters, we really enjoyed all the dishes. Two starters, two mains, chapattis, and drinks came to... More

We had delicious palak paneer and veg jalfrezi with tandoori roti and chapatis, which we thoroughly enjoyed and the food was very well priced. I am Indian and I cook a lot of Indian food and even for me this was outstanding. Also the staff were very welcoming. Looking forward to dining there again.

Today we needed a pick-me-up!! So off to Mendi's I go for a takeaway I arrived there a little bit early which gave me time to catch up with some catch up calls to friends, and the owner came out twice trying to catch me not on the phone, so I could place my order! What was so nice it... More
