My wife and I dined at Scott’s Bistro three times during our visit to HPB’s Tigh Mor. The dining room takes about 20 tables, some for couples, some for four or more diners … and from what we saw, I suspect every one is used each evening. When booking, you’ll be offered a dining time .. presumably to ensure the... More

We were staying at the HPB and decided to eat at Scotts bistro after a couple of long walks and wanted something on site. It is a lovely atmosphere, fabulous food- some of the best fish I've ever eaten and lovely wine. Not too expensive, and after the first time we liked it enough that we returned for a 2nd... More

We've stayed at a number of HPB properties and not been particularly impressed by the on site restaurants on most of them. Scott's however is refreshingly different. There is no sign of complacency in the quality of food or service despite having an almost captive market. We were a party of two couples and ate there twice. Everything we had... More

Having been blessed with perfect autumn weather for our short break at Tigh Mor, we visited Scotts Bistro one evening. The food was excellent - not the widest choice of dishes but everything was beautifully cooked and presented. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the environment relaxing. We will definitely return on our next visit.

Recently returned from a lovely stay at HPB Tigh Mor, due to our busy schedule could only eat here once on our last night. The food was wonderful, especially the pulled pork for starters and the cream of mushroom soup. We found the portions generous and was presented well, both the owner and staff were very attentive, we had some... More

On the HPB site and difficult to get in, but well worth trying. Excellent venison and lovely fish dishes.

Visited whilst staying at the HPB and the food was excellent. Scott and his staff are very polite and professional. We just had the 2 courses and a bottle of merlot and the bill was £60. I had pulled pork starter followed by a superb steak. The better half had pate that was more like a terrine followed by Cullen... More

Staying at HPB Tigh Mor, Scott's bistro is very convenient. Menu is varied. Food cooked appropriately and portions satisfactory. Haggis was very peppery. Mentioned to chef who said it was bought in and "he should try it again". Sad admission that a chef served food that he had not tried! Puds very good.
