The Brig O' Turk Tearoom is located right in the heart of the Trossachs, not too far from either Callander or Aberfoyle and is well worth seeking out. However, we might so easily have driven past and overlooked it, as it's housed in an inauspicious green painted, wooden chalet and the name and exterior simply don't do justice to this... More

Pine clad hut wholly fitting in the hills of the Trossachs. Food very good especially the chowder and service friendly if a little slow. However, in such surroundings the pace of service is hardly an issue. It is a big shame that it is now closed for the season. I have no idea why they can't get patronage to make... More

Passed by as they were just about to close up for the season. Lovely chowder and garlic bread was perfect to warm up as the first of the winter snow made it's the way. Friendly staff make for a special stop.

Had lunch here . My wife had the roast belly pork and I had the Hungarian goulash . Both were excellent , well presented and just the right size of portion. We did not bother with a pud but purchased two slices of cake for later. They were excellent to. So a must visit place

Looking at this it doesnt look much as its in a green hut. I suppose its unique but doesnt have a plush restaurant look about it. Upon entering it looks like a tearoom, quite old fashioned but cosy and clean. We were welcomed straight away by a friendly waitress and seated. The menu for lunch certainly sounded appealing. We ordered... More

we stopped here for dinner expecting a good meal in a quaint old "shed" of a building but the meal was outstanding , with a real quality to the menu choices and a friendly service in a quaint setting would absolutely visit again when next in the Trossachs

Lovely welcoming cafe with delicious food in quirky cabin come cafe. Food was all delicious without exception. Hearty goulash was a winter warmer on this cold bonfire night. The seafood chowder was exceptionally good and not the generic creamy white sauce you get in so many places. It was light yet hearty at the same time. Would strongly recommend anyone... More

went in here after a short walk. Scones were still warm, so could not resist trying one. Lady behind counter gave us some local interests to look out for- the bike tree. Will call again when back in the area to try a main meal.

Understated little Scout Hut by the side of the road - a tea room! Did not know of it, have not read reviews and had very low expectations as we stumbled across this tiny place in the middle of nowhere. We were kindly greeted on to their tartan carpet and the place was busy at almost 2pm, but were shown... More
