Really lovely fish and chips beautifully cooked but pricey especially as the portions were quite small.

I was glad to see it had not changed hands and gone downhill. We had large cod/chips/peas/curry sauce. All cooked fresh. Not a long wait. Staff pleasant. Clean surroundings. Approx £16. Cheaper than our local chippy and tasted better. Will prob visit again before we leave. Try it, i have tasted worse in other chippies locally.

We ordered takeaway here for 6 people and it absolutely lovely. The regular portions of cod and chips were plenty for an adult and everything was very fresh and cooked perfectly (including the calamari my son had). The queue was out the door but service was incredibly quick. Highly recommend.

Lovely hand cut chips. Crispy, lightly battered fish. Proper chip shop curry. Value for money and right next to our lodgings at Fallbarrow Park. Perfect when you ccan't be bothered to cook

The chips were ok and we just wanted a quick bite in between activities but what really lets it down is the staff. Neither smiled or were friendly and a smile and nicities just would have been nice. Wouldn't go back

Stayed in Bowness for a week, fancied some Fish and Chips.been here last year and it was good, did not let us down this year. Hubby had Fish and Chips said was delicious, I had Fish Cake and Chips, I enjoyed it. Staffed by a group of friendly ladies, very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend.

It is not often we have a chippy meal but we were recommended this chippy should we ever decide to have one. Even though there was a queue service was quick. The fish and chips were excellent even though I could not finish it all. Would definitely recommend this chippy and next time we are in the lakes will definitely... More
