We booked for dinner on a Saturday night and weren't disappointed. A lovely restaurant with very welcoming staff. We had the scallops followed by steak and duck, I wish I'd tried the king prawns on the specials board too. As it was my fiances birthday...More

Cannot recommend highly enough. My daughter and I were given the suggestion by our hotel reception and I'm very glad they did. Small bistro, nicely decorated which was quite busy with a good vibe even at 8.30 pm. Outstanding, considerate, attentive service whilst the food...More

Short walk from Church Street car park. Prices may seem high considering the unpretentious premises, but they're well worth paying for the quality of food. One of the best confit de canard I've had anywhere - including in France.

Looking for somewhere cozy and romantic to take my fella for his birthday next Friday night but many of the restaurants in Bowness close in January. I cannot see any menu on the internet for Jacksons Bistro or pictures of the inside, enough for me to judge if this is a suitable venue. Can anyone please help with a description of the interior and/or food on the menu. Many thanks!

Hello We'd like to come to celebrate my mums 60th anniversary. Do you have a children's menu that would be suitable for my 7 year old nephew?
