Nice enough seating and areas inside and out and the food looked amazing that was coming out however after visiting pubs all round bowness and surrounding windermere this was by far the most expensive over £8 for 1pint & 1half peroni and it had lipstick on the glass!!! Not impressed especially as almost next door the same drinks in clean... More

Lovely pub with plenty of outdoor seating for summer time. Could do with some patio heaters for the chillier nights/days. Decor on the inside is not what you would expect - the chairs are perhaps a little too large, and the lightning a little low. Food and drink selection is great and reasonably priced. I've had a number of fish... More

The kebab was amazing for both chicken and lamb. The only thing I didn't like is I had to go the bar to order food!!

Nice place, really calm atmosphere and nice decor however the service was terribly slow. Waited 20 minutes before someone came to take our drinks order. There was then a 40 minute wait after the starter. Decided to skip dessert knowing it would add another hour on to our night. Waiters try their best but more staff are definitely needed. Food... We are regular visitors here and to be fair our meal on Easter Sunday had a few hiccups due to it being soooo busy! BUT ... the wonderful staff went out of their way to make things right. Our food was delicious as always and Allan and Manager (sorry forgotten your name!) were amazing. Well done guys. See you soon.... More

In truth had we not had a recommendation we would have walked straight past! From the outside it looks like a bar and not a restaurant for the family. On entering you arrive at a bar and have no idea there is a full restaurant. It was a little overwhelming for my youngest (13) daughter. Easter Sunday was, as you... More

Had a meal here during our stay in Bowness. It was ok, just not outstanding. Nothing stood out as exceptional - the service, the food, the atmosphere - it was just ok. We were hungry so was fine and would consider another visit, we just found other Bowness restaurants to be that much better.

Visited today for a couple of beers, kids & dogs also welcome. The service was OK and on our table was an extra large domino set so had a couple of games. Food prices were reasonable but drinks expensive, the decor was pleasant and all in all a relaxing break from the hustle and bussel on a busy Easter Saturday.
