Prices can vary from £3.99 to £11.00 in Bowness on Windermere for a Cream Tea. This place serves the most delicious homemade plain and fruit scones I have tasted in years for around £5.00 per head. My mother even bought two to take home ....More

Visited with my wife and 2 kids. Well overpriced for what it is. Had sandwiches and jacket potatoes for the kids, have to say not the best spuds I've seen. For tea x2, cordial X2, meal deal with soup and 2x jackets was over£17. The...More

Visited here for cream tea. Staff were very warm and friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Cream tea was good value, sconenwas still warm and there was plenty of jam and cream. Some items were rather pricy on the menu so made our selection easy.

Like a previous reviewer we found this place by accident and I would agree that it is excellent value in a notoriously expensive area. We had the 'daily special' and enjoyed sandwiches, a cream scone and tea or coffee for a bargain price. All beautifully...More

Found this little place tucked away in notorious rip-off Windermere. Excellent value, lovely food, friendly, obliging and helpful staff. So dog friendly too. Comfy settee. Seek it out and give the chains/expensive 'tea-rooms' a miss!

had the lunch time meal deal with sandwich and a soup, but they got my sandwich order wrong (just ham) and rather than make a new one they just scraped the cheesy filling out and gave it back to me, still with bits of cheese...More

As everyone else has said - yes they are open Sundays and yes they have a gallery which would accommodate your party easily. I would contact them beforehand. The owners are lovely people and I'm sure they will help if they... More
