Absolute gem of a local pub. Visiting a friend who lives locally. Popped in for a drink. Thanks to a great welcome and beautifully smelling food we stayed for several, 3 courses, and were dropped home by the owners. Food nothing short of stunning local food. Would not hesitate to recommend and we'll definitely be back next time we're down.... More

Stayed 3 nights at the end of a 2 week holiday in Cornwall and Devon and we definitely saved the best until last and would have liked to have stayed longer. The location is superb if you appreciate the countryside and peace and quiet. Amy and Ellis made us so welcome - nothing was too much trouble. The room was... More

We stayed Easter Weekend and it was fantastic. The owners, staff and locals were all so friendly and welcoming. The accommodation is excellent; the rooms are clean, comfortable and perfect for a good nights sleep. The food is amazing, everything we ate was beautifully cooked...the steak pie was amazing. We travelled by motorbikes with our little dog Harley and they... More

While on holiday my husband and I decided to visit this pub for a Sunday lunch and we were so very glad we did. The food was amazing, the staff so helpful and friendly. Also loved the fact that our dogs were able to visit with us.

Just returned from a Easter weekend Break at the Pyne Arm. Lovely cosy rooms, Great Atmosphere. Staff are really friendly and help full with places to visit in the local area. Food is excellent and well worth the drive to find. Would definitely be revisiting again in the not to distant future. Highly recommended.

We ate here last Sunday evening and enjoyed an exceedingly good roast dinner. I had the beef which was served as i like it. My wife had the pork and there was a great portion of both. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and the gravy was rich and tasty. The Devon blue mushroom starter was very good also. Clearly a... More

We have eaten at the Pyne Arms for the last three consecutive weeks. On two occasions we were entertained by suppliers for the business that we run. We were asked to choose the venue as they would have taken us anywhere. We love the little pub that is the heart of our hamlet so we chose the Pyne as we... More

Thanks to trip advisor this place popped up as close to where we were staying. Also the Exmoor Food Festival was still going until the end of the month, so decided to give it a try. Good beer Exmoor Stag complemented the well presented and tasty food. Ham hock fritter and smoked trout starters were good, followed by excellent cod... More

Absolutely amazed by this little country pub, fifth visit and second visit of this month! Went for the Exmoor Food Festival menu, and WOW, amazing. The front of house are so friendly and polite, nothing is too much trouble. The food is second to none, always fresh and always piping hot. I really rate this as my favourite pub in... More
