Vegetarian food was limited. The halloumi burger was just chunks of halloumi in a bun. Beer is good, service is mixed depending on the wait staff.

The restaurant was empty. The fact that England were playing on the TV should not have resulted in the incredibly slow service. That, as well as description on the menu of 'mince and dumplings'...'Grandma's favourite!'.. was NOT mince and dumplings....it was mince and a cobbler....More

I don't think it is particularly child friendly as it is a bit cramped in the bar area for pushchairs etc. But i am sure the restaurant (separate off to one side) will supply a high chair on request.
