Stopped by on Christmas eve for a portion of chips after a long walk. For two pound you got a portion of tasty chips, however the portion was pretty small so not great value.

When staying in Sandown in July 2016 we thought we would have some fish and chips after being out for a drink. We called into the shop, it was 9:40pm. There were about three guys all having a chat, in a natural break in the conversation we asked for two cod and chips. With no apology or grace the guy... More

Stopped in for a eat lunch with the family. Very reasonable prices and the fish was cooked to order. Very good fish and chips. The only thing that stops it getting the full 5 stars is no free sauces for eat in.

On the high street and busy - close to the beach but won't be back. The fish and chips were swimming in grease - by the time walked back to the beach the papers wrapping the goods were soaked through with grease. Reasonable fish but no better or worse than mainland chip shops. Would avoid.

The town was dead and this place was the only busy restaurant going. Fish n chips twice with mushy peas- a cuppa tea and bottle of water cost £15.60. Eating in. Thought it would be cheaper-same price as London prices! Standard fish n chips small portion of peas. Lovely cuppa tea. Sauces on the table would have been nice. Toilets... More

Fancied fish and chips while out and were in Sandown, and new they usually open at 10am but on this particular day they only opened just before midday. Everything was freshly cooked the chips were good but the portion size was small for the price. Fish cake was tasty but the battered sausage was tasteless. Asked for curry roll and... More
