We visited here one day last week for a Devonshire cream tea. The weather was lovely so we sat outside in a pretty garden. The young girls who served us were delightful. Very pleasant and polite. The cream tea was the best we've had. There is a choice of one or two scones and fruit or plain. We each chose... More

We've visited here with our dog and son every year for the last 9 years and can't fault it. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is good with generous portions.

Visiting my hometown with my mum for the first time in several years we thought that The Tea Room had great surroundings. Since chemotherapy for breast cancer last year, I have been gluten free - there are gluten free options here, so it was wonderful to be able to enjoy a cream tea. The cream tea itself was lovely -... The inside isn't as lovely as outside of the Tea Garden, (although there's also nothing wrong with it) but the outside looks very appealing! We sat outside, under a lovely large umbrella, and the garden is well looked after, and was a lovely setting for our first Devonshire cream tea. We had a few while we were in devon, but... More

You've got to try the local crab when in Ilfracombe and there is now better place for fresh crab sandwiches than here. Love setting inside and out, friendly staff who adore dogs - it was biscuits all round whilst we were there!

Called in needing a quick lunch. Couldnt fault the place. Quick efficient service and the tuna/mayo sandwich came in lovely fresh bread and was supplied with a good quantity of good quality salad. Would certainly return when next in the area.

This was a lovely little place, had cover outside with a small roof and large umbrellas covering other tables if it rained. We had the devon cream tea, scones, fresh cream and strawberry jam. A pot of tea included, it was reasonably priced and would definitely go there again..

Great food at really good prices, the crab was fresher than from the fishmongers 'off the boat'. Perfect place for lunch.
