Popped in for a snack and coffee on a January Wednesday with the inlaws and my dog. Most of Tenby seemed to be closed, but the Hope & Anchor was very welcoming. Did not bat a eyelid when I was my usual awkward self and chose off menu. Always a sign the food is cooked to order. They are linked... More

Called in for lunch on a cold winters day. Very welcoming, great layout and some lovely pictures on the wall. Food was great and good value for money. Would highly recommend a visit.

I've been coming to Tenby for over thirty years and the one constant trip is to this pub. Whether I was with my Nan as a kid, or a fully grown adult, this pub was, and still is a corner stone of every trip to Tenby. Now I will admit that the last time I ate here was two years... More

Was tempted to go in on our stay in Tenby as wanted to try the cawl. Was absolutely lovely with loads of cheese and bread. Partner had a baguette and really enjoyed. Proper pub, and although they were refurbishing it was warm and inviting. Looking forward to coming back in February.

Delicious food at a reasonable price - not your 5 star gourmet, but you get what you pay for and it's a lovely location too.

At the top of the 'Today's Specials' were two soups: Tomato and Cheddar Cheese with thyme oil and home made croutons, with rustic bread; Welsh Cawl, [lamb stew with a variety of root vegetables] rustic roll and cheese. I thought they were starters, so also ordered a main of Mussels, served with bacon, onions, cream and Stopford cider. That cawl... More

The food was ok I would say average pub grub, we had lunch of ploughmans and it was plentiful! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

After several attempts to order a fish dish and told they had sold out my husband and 10 yr son opted for the mussels. They came out in a soup bowl and looked more like a starter than main dish. My 10 year old commented first by saying these are tiny Ines and I'm still hungry. Minute piece of bread... More
