I googled best places to eat in Tenby and the Hope and Anchor came up having amazing reviews - so we walked quite a way up the hill to this pub = trusting these reviews! Food was just a mess, fried - even the veg was fried not nice and fattening. There was also too much food and my party... More

Our favourite Tenby pub. This year we discovered the draft Tenby Harbour beers. Very nice indeed. We've been popping in for about 30 years and the business has grown to accommodate more tourists without losing the feel of a real local. We haven't eaten on this trip, but on a previous visit our son described the seafood as "as fresh... More

This is an excellent real ale pub, serving local brew. The food is local traditional and of an excellent quality. Try the Welsh Lamb 'Cawl' with a pint of Tenby Brewery 'RFA Sir Galahad'! I will be back for another (or two)!

Since I've been here last they have extended the restaurant which was really lovely. The food here was great and good portion sizes.

This is without a doubt the finest pub in Tenby for both foodies and real ale coniseurs. A terrific find during a short break. We arrived at around 5.30pm to find quite a number of customers already creating a pleasant atmosphere in stark contrast to a number of other empty pubs passed by. The range of real ales is extensive... More

Just writing this review is making me crave a pint of the local amber ale and some fish and chips. The Cawl is absoloutely worth a try as well - a Welsh lamb stew served with bread and cheese. It's very family friendly, so if you want to avoid kids then maybe this isn't the best place for a quiet... More

We had calamari for lunch which was absolutely delicious. Quick and friendly service. Really nice atmosphere and the location is perfect being next to the beach. Highly recommended.
