Strolled past this place on the way down the slipway so popped in for a takeaway coffee (lovely) and picked up home made scotch eggs - spicy chorizo, Cumberland versions. Can thoroughly recommend these, great quality and still with runny yolk. Will be back when we're next in Tenby!

Gorgeous little coffee shop tucked away in an archway by the harbour. It had the feel of a log cabin, was really nicely decorated, and served us lovely coffee, with options of flavourings, a devilishly naughty hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows, a beautiful selection of cakes, we had a cinnamon swirl, and some really impressive scotch eggs. The sweet potato and feta was remarkable, could not tell it was vegetarian. We sat at the back in the small available tables and had a nice break before exploring Tenby some more. Would recommend popping by.

It was a happy event to be turned away from the yacht club this evening when all we wanted was a drink. Instead we discovered this priceless gem so tiny you could easily miss it but DO NOT! They offer a selection of drinks and high end nibbles and other wonderful things. We enjoyed our cocktails on the terrace by the church and overlooking harbour beach in the sun and you absolutely couldn’t ask for more. It’s not often I’d highly recommend a place but happy do on this occasion.

Found this place on trip advisor as it had great reviews so we wandered down looking forward to a nice coffee and some light lunch. As we approached a lady said ‘you’ll be waiting a long time’, we continued to commit anyway. We ordered a couple of coffees and I opted for a filled croissant - I was asked if I wanted it toasted so I said yes. After we got our coffees 10 minutes later, there was still no croissant. So I waited a further 10 minutes until I asked him where it was? My baby was getting a bit distressed at this point. He said it was burnt so he’d make another. Waited a further 10-15 minutes and I decided I’d take it to go. It was black! Take a look at the photo.. terrible! I told him I couldn’t eat it like that and would have to have it to go, untoasted. Very disappointing!!! I think it’s far too small and busy for one staff member. Just don’t open if you can’t operate sufficiently. We paid £20 for an awful experience. Not worth it.

Find it first - on the slipway down to the harbour beach. Tiny and intimate. Happy staff! Proper strong coffee, fabulous cakes, tasty homemade sandwiches and lovely ice cream made locally.

We stumbled across this hidden gem of a place while walking round by the harbour on a wet morning. It is such a lovely little place, very cute inside. We had a hog roast sausage roll, a coke and a caramel brownie to take away. The sausage roll was lovely and the brownie was probably the best one I've ever had, so moist and the gooey caramel running through it was amazing. The lady who served us was so nice and friendly and made us feel welcome the second we stepped through the door. It's her first season there this year and we think she's doing a fantastic job. If you like good food and brilliant service then head on down.

Have visited for many years and always had great service and quality produce whether it's the coffee or cakes. Having started adding a babyccino to the order, this place has another new fan. And if you are able to preorder some of the delicious croissants you won't be disappointed.

I've certainly had better tasting and hotter coffee elsewhere. I have been here before but today's visit was disappointing. The scotch eggs looked fabulous, we wanted a snack and so we were very tempted, until I saw the price...£4.05 each! I know things have increased in price but blimey, that's a crazy price for a snack. Needless to say, we went hungry.

First of all, me and my family went inside and we asked for coffee, the woman behind the counter then said that the man who does coffee is on break and he won’t be back for a while. I was surprised she wasn’t trained yet or didn’t know how to make it. The man returned in a matter of 5 minutes so we asked him how much longer he would be and he replied with “im on my break. i wont be back for a while and i dont want to see that coffee machine for a long time.” which was uneeded and quite rude. never again.

After looking around Tenby for a coffee shop we found this absolute unique place located in the harbour area. Situated in the arches it’s hard not to be impressed with the cool quirky vibe of the stowaway and the smell of high quality coffee and food seeping into the air. The staff where really nice and the coffee was probably the best I have ever tasted. (And I have drank a lot of coffee in my time) . With our coffee we had ice cream and cakes which where out of this world. A great hiking trip to Pembrokeshire with the added bonus of finding the stowaway.

Small scoop from tiny to small barely enough to cover the hole in the cone. Such mean portions. This place used to be awesome when it first opened but in the years since then prices have gone up and portion sizes down. We’re a slim family who like ice cream on holiday, not greedy but the tiny scoops costing £3.50 or £4 have made me feel so cheated as to write this review. Also the staff this year are clueless.

Wonderful ice cream - excellent value for money considering the quality and flavour. Tenby is full of ice cream vendors, the prices are all very similar and everyone sells the same local brand. The Stowaway sells a better quality product with some interesting flavour options. The rum and raisin is the best my husband has ever tasted and my damson sorbet was delightful. I’m lactose intolerant and it’s always a challenge to find dairy free icecream, Having bought ice cream from lots of Tenby vendors I agree that the portion size is on the small size - yet still perfectly acceptable and good value for money bearing in mind that prices are up to £1 a cone dearer elsewhere.

Wanted to visit here after seeing such good reviews. Popped in for an ice cream - impressed with the flavour choice (enjoyed the chilli choc!) and lack of nasty ingredients. Ended up going back shortly after and sitting in for a coffee too! Friendly staff and fun location.

A wonderful little coffee shop. The best coffee I’ve had in Tenby by far and their food is pretty tasty too. I especially like their apricot and cheese croissant - try it cold, i.e. not toasted. The staff are very welcoming and there’s a few tables tucked in the back if you want to sit in. Has become my regular go-to for coffee and friendly faces in Tenby.

Cracking little cafe right by the quay. Great coffees, lovely sausage rolls and veggie equivalents and the Welsh Rarebit panino was delicious. Super friendly service. Only a few seats inside and loos are the public ones round the corner as such a tiny space
