I would not recommend this place. They are supposed to cater for vegetarians. On my visit on Friday, I was served a very small slice of nut roast, with saute potatoes and a separate portion of vegetables. The nut roast was so small they covered most of the plate with potatoes, hoping I would not notice The gravy had syrupy... More

This is our favourite place for afternoon tea and truly home cooked fresh food. I had the duchess afternoon tea at £14.95 which was four finger sized sandwiches on fresh light brown bread with a warm scone, jam, clotted cream and five mini cakes including a small pot of coffee very good value for money. Husband had steak and kidney... More

The place is only small but is decorated as in olden times, We only had afternoon tea but it was wonderful and the best tasting fruit scone I have tasted only nipped in for a brew but was packed and was glad we picked here. Staff are very nice and very well mannered

This cafe is delightful. Staff are friendly and efficient and all dressed in period costumes to match the Victorian decor. Cutlery and crockery is beautiful. The menu is surprisingly comprehensive. Large selection of vegan dishes. Food was fabulous and reasonably priced.

We walked down Lord Street looking for somewhere different and came across Westminster Tea Rooms after eliminating the usual high street chains. We checked that they served meals as well as tea and cakes and found that they had an extensive savoury menu. We enjoyed the salad which was enhanced by the restaurant providing separate tubs of coleslaw and potato... More

Visited Westminster Tea Rooms on a busy Sunday afternoon. They soon made room for us but just a little draughty as we were sat near the doorway. As usual the meals were lovely and the staff very obliging. The meals were lovely, as was the atmosphere. Looking forward to visiting again.

Stepping into this quaint little tea room is like going back in time with gorgeous Art Deco lamps and 40s music playing. The service is impeccable, and the food and drink is always first class. Have come back here numerous times and always been impressed with the ambience and quality of the food and service.

If you want to enjoy a peaceful and nostalgic afternoon with tea served in beautiful China and silver teapots then this is the place to come. There is a wide selection of cakes and hot and cold dishes. Staff are very attentive and friendly. We just had crumpets and tea. The crumpets came in a heated dish with butter and... More

We called in on the morning of Mother's Day and had a lovely brunch, food good and excellent coffee. The service was a little slow though, 45 minutes from ordering to eating. This is a really old style place, with white tablecloths, well dressed waiting staff and panelled walls. It's not too big so you may have to wait.

Had a lovely breakfast here this morning. Tea room takes you back in time, nice relaxed atmosphere. Staff attentive and friendly. Had the best Eggs Royale I've had in a long time. Tea was served in a polished silver teapot with China sets. Couldn't fault a thing, lovely experience. Timed it nicely as became very busy whilst there. Will definitely... More
