I have to agree with the previous reviewers comments. I went on a Wednesday evening which was a quiet time for the Bistro, but the service and food was still superb. Michelle proved to be a wonderful hostess explaining the way the food was prepared and spiced. Managed a quick chat with Janine in between her preparing food for other... More

We had our first visit to this small bistro at the south end of Southport - having been open for over a year it's passed us by really. My wife and I love the type of food sold there, when reviewing the menu in advance, plus being 'flexitarians', there was a great choice of veggie food that we were keen... More

We arrived at this lovely looking bistro and had a choice of two tables. We chose the back table; we both soon wished we hadn't, as it was so cold and the door was constantly being opened. We shared a baba ganoush starter which was good and both chose the chicken in Lebanese spices for our main meal. The spices... More

Thanks for your review, we appreciate it as it helps us improve. With regards to your comments, we feel that most could have been addressed on the night. We could have tried to move your seating and offered you a different dish (this dish can become dry as it is chargrilled and coated in lebanese spices but is accompanied with... More

Visited recently with 2 other people. Great warm welcome. Lovely authentic decor, relaxed atmosphere. Food was excellent, timely and beautifully presented. Grilled Chicken and Lamb in lebanese spices, Vermicelli rice,Homemade Hibiscus cordial, great range of wines and drinks. Whats not to like. Will visit again for sure.

Third visit tonight. Great food as usual. Freshly made/cooked, different from the usual. Had the tapas-style starter-6 different tastes (3 cold, 3 hot) for £15-remarkable value. Then a mixed kebab main-minced lamb, lamb and chicken served with spiced rice and salad, Fresh and delicious. Mum cooked, daughter served-both so friendly and interesting to talk to. A great night out.

Had the midweek early bird. Two courses for £10 between 5-7. All 5 of us enjoyed our meals. Extremely tasty, high in flavour, no nonsense food. We were full but not uncomfortable and could enjoy a drink. The restaurant is a nice size and has a hidden gem of a lounge area in the back .

We visited for a birthday meal (for me!), having been warned off the Cypriot restaurant! Whilst I stuck with variants of my trusty favourites (feta & spinach fatayeh followed by halloumi kebabs), my husband ventured for chicken livers (as a lifelong vegetarian never has meat smelt so tempting!), and kibbeh labniyeh. He was delighted with both. The fatayeh were just... More

We got a take away from this restaurant, which was very tasty but very small portions, and expensive. Shame as it was good food but too expensive and portions size left us hungry.

Thank you for your review .we are sorry to be reading this as we use standard takeaway dishes giving the same amounts we give diners and I assure you our regular diners have never left hungry. I first visited The Fig Bistro in October, 2015, just as Janine had taken over the restaurant, I was so drawn to the place I just had to write a review, in fact it was my very first Tripadvisor Review. I lived in the Middle East for 29 years and am very familiar with the cuisine, so i knew exactly... More
