This is the only place open past 11:30pm The drinks are cheap and cheerful However getting a taxi in this lovely little village is impossible

Simple but good quality Sunday roast options and drinks. Friendly mix of regulars and visitors with helpful bar/waiting staff. Toilets always very clean. Will be back soon.

Just around the corner from the spread eagle hotel where we all were staying, the warm welcome and service was superb from the lovely girl on duty, great open fires, spotless bathrooms, very clean and tidy pub with great ales and wine, very enjoyable

Real traditional old pub with fire place, cosy place to have a drink. I wasn't sure if they did food in the evening as couldn't see a menu or specials board but we would have eaten if it was available.

Popped in here on a cold Sunday for a bite to eat and was really impressed by the food; great pub grub, very tasty and straightforward, which is a rare thing these days. In had the half roast chicken and my partner had the roast pork - both excellent. Deserts were also delicious. There was a lovely roaring log fire,... More

We love finding little treasures like this pub. A cold damp English winter's day brought us to their warm fire, good beer and great food. Visit if you can.

Visited Midhurst for the afternoon and wanted somewhere to eat to save me cooking! Came across this pub. We ordered the half roast chicken dinner each. The 2 pieces of chicken came with roast potatoes, a Yorkie pud and 5 types of veg, and it was lovely! For pud, my husband chose the homemade crumble and custard and I had... More

It's a nice quiet pub and could be great but the food and drinks really let it down. If u get Sunday lunch wrong u might as well give up n close. We ordered a Shiraz n IPA. The Shiraz was not good. No depth nothing. For food, we ordered chicken and beef to be on the safe side and... More

We're very sorry to hear that you did not have a great experience at The Bricklayers Arms on Sunday. It's a real shame though that you didn't let us know about this at the time. If ever a diner lets us know about a problem we would as a matter of course either replace a food order with another dish... More
