Popped in for a coffee and cake with family. Delicious choice of cakes, pastries and puddings. We chose flapjacks, pain au chocolate, bara brith and carrot cake. The carrot cake was especially delicious, moist and loads of creamy frosting. Coffee and hot chocolates were hot and freshly brewed. Yum! We'll hopefully have chance to try the full English breakfast before... More

Struggling with a new menu when we visited but, nonetheless, very good. Attentive service, to compensate for the average service from the kitchen but interesting food, whether snacks or meals. Good position on the sea front and nice table in the window. When its over the teething troubles it should be excellent.

Stopped here for coffee and toasted teacake after walking from Tywyn. Friendly staff and good coffee. This little coffee shop has only four tables and is deservedly constantly busy.

Always pop in when we stay at Aberdovey, however this time been taken over by new people, much better service, really friendly and encourage you to buy cakes on display, Great breakfast and definitely value for money, not a long wait for food, great quality food..

We rented a small cottage in Aberdyfi one wet and windy weekend last spring. This little coffee shop was a delightful find with a warm, friendly welcome and yummy fare. Highly recommend their Welsh Rarebit with bacon, the very best I've ever had especially after a blowy afternoon collecting drift wood on the beach. Good menu with hot homemade delights... More

For a bonus start this is one of the few cafes in Aberdovey open in the winter. We called in for breakfast and had the full option. On the credit side, the bacon, sausages and mushrooms were excellent but the scrambled eggs were strangely salty. Toast was limited to one slice, which seemed a bit frugal and extra slices seemed... When we are showing friends the delights of Aberdovey this place is a must for a snack! Popped in again today and as usual we were not disappointed. Sadly the personable and ever welcoming owner was not there - but even she is allowed to have a well earned long weekend break after a very busy summer season.
