Walked here with friends, stop off with the kids for a couple of pints on a Saturday afternoon. Decent beer, three on tap. Landlady was pleasant and talkative, plenty of people like us popping in for a drink, well worth pausing here.

Visited for lunch after a walk in the area with friends. Menu fairly small but adequate for our needs. I opted for the haddock- very fresh and good crisp light batter. Well presented. Price very reasonable

love this local pub! Dog friendly. Friendly staff. Home cooked food which is not over priced. Oatcakes and scampi and Sunday Roasts are excellent. BEST PUB IN THE AREA!
