Love this place the food reminds me of eating in a brewry in Germany. And the pils beer is better than any british pub.

Traditional German food served, delicious meals with German tastes and spices but also German beer and spirits. There's food from schnitzel to German sausage and mash. There's delicious German sides and also a rustic outside fee along side the river Thames while the sun goes down over the river.

Rick Steins has only been open since 17th March 17 so all glitches should have been dealt with by now - and they had! We arrived at this attractive converted barn with cobbled area and plenty of parking. Delightful staff welcomed us and discussed which table we would like... the window tables looking directly onto the Thames were taken but... More

Stumbled across this great place while walking along the river. Went in, ordered some beer, hot chocolate & and Sausage platter sharer. After the beers were poured, we sat down and within 2 mins our meal was delivered. Couldn't of been better. Amazing German food & beer. What more could you want??! Will definitely be back!

Very authentic cuisine and friendly service . We stopped by for lunch and had weisswurst and curry wurst both of which reminded us of a recent trip to Munich . Delicious and adequate portions for lunch. All the food we saw coming out looked great. Bench type seating with patio heaters so more of a summer spot but well worth... More

If you love sausage, potatoes, sauerkraut and beer this is the place for you. Right on the river, if its a bit chilly , like when we visited there are heaters. I can imagine that this place would be absolutely rammed on a warm summers day. Well worth a visit

Stein's in Richmond is a great place for a beer and some German specialties. It's self-service. There are long cues when the weather is good. The food choices where limited when we went. Not sure if this is only the weekend Menge. Food is good but all our dishes were not hot.

This place is always busy. The food and drink are authentic, Bavarian style food; and on a sunny day like today it was perfect - a real buzz of people of all ages and races, enjoying the weather and the great food.

Stein´s is well known in Richmond for being a very nice experience on a nice sunny afternoon for a good beer and some quality German food with great views onto Richmond bridge. On Christmas eve I leaned of a very different angle to the picture: We went to St. Peters to attend the candle light Christmas carols. To get a... More
