What a wonderful gem of a restaurant. Had lunch there today with a group of friends. Seven of us in total and each meal was better than the next. There was a variety of dishes ordered and each one was simply delicious. Service was good prompt and polite and no request was too much. We will be returning again and again
Given the quality of the food and level of service we received we felt the prices charged were more the reasonable. We will be back

Food was nice enough but the service by one particular staff member was terrible. Absolutely no welcome at the door. We felt like we were a great inconvenience. Waited nearly 20 minutes for someone to take our order. I had Lebanese flat bread which came first, nearly 10 minutes before my husband's. We waited 5 minutes and then reminded the older blond server that we hadn't received our drinks. She was very rude and impatient, taking our drink order for the second time.
The topping on my flatbread was nice but the flatbread was a very tough flat wrap that I could not cut no matter how hard I tried. My husband said his Thai curry was very nice.
When my husband went to order dessert he was told coffee was finished! This was 5 o'clock and I was under the impression that they were open to 9 pm. The pleasant younger waitress said they closed at 5 even though it is all over their website that they are opened until 9.
Amazing how one unpleasant, grumpy server can ruin a meal out. We would probably return another day for the food but will absolutely never go back again because of the service.

The food is nice and the setting is lovely but the service was really slow. They weren't too busy when we arrived and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful but we were waiting forever for our food to arrive and then the orders arrived very slowly and one at a time to the table. I was last to be served and was served much later than everyone else. I had ordered soup so there was no reason why it was took so long. All a bit frustrating .

My partner, myself and my 8 month old stopped in Aubergine for some lunch on our way to the Crescent on Saturday afternoon and I am so glad we did.
We got chatting to a waitress who was taking our food order and I was saying how 8 month old has CMPA and so usually we find it really difficult to order for him when eating out as most dishes contain milk or some form of dairy, however, once we mentioned this to the waitress she stopped me and quickly went to the kitchen.. she returned to tell us that the chefs had kindly offered to whip up a dairy free baby bowl for my son. For this reason alone I would give Aubgergine 5 stars as no other restaurants we have visited in the 8 months that he has been born has offered such a service or have even suggested a suitable item from the menu for that matter. We are actually living in Cork so we aren't usually up that way but we will definitely make it our business to stop in again each and everytime we are passing.
My son devoured his baby bowl and our food was also delsicious. We ordered some take away coffees and decided to have a nice stroll in the park nearby before heading off again.. beautiful place and a lovely family afternoon.

Have frequented this place before. Today was hands down the worst I seen in there. I've worked for 20 years in the same industry and never experienced something like today. The Owners are oblivious to what is going on. The place is under staffed and with the price on the food you don't get your moneys worth.
We ordered two cappuccinos which took some time to come. When they arrived they were cold and we had to wait again for two more which were average.
We ordered two eggs benedict and sausages and toast for the kids. There was no sign of the food coming and when the bell rang for it to be taken ot was left on the pass so.long the chefs took it off and started to make it again. At this point we had waited for close to an hour and decided to pay for the coffer and leave.
To top it off a girl was stopped by an elderly couple to order a d when asked she said and I quote " sorry I'm on trial I don't really work here". Best line I've heard in a long time.

A Must Visit in Croom - Aubergine
If you’re in Croom or just passing through, you have to stop by the fabulous restaurant, Aubergine. Located right next to Croom Park, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy some incredible local Irish food and produce.
I treated myself to their warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream while sitting in the cosy café area, and it was absolutely divine! The atmosphere is so inviting, and you can tell they put a lot of care into everything they serve.
I’d definitely recommend stopping by—whether for a quick treat, a relaxed meal, or just to soak in the lovely vibe. Aubergine is a true gem!

This is a beautiful restaurant in a beautiful park setting . The staff are all first class and really nice to deal .
The food is really great quality whether it's just a snack or a full meal. I've just discovered it is now doing evening meals on fri/Sat evening and open Sunday until 7pm. Looking forward to an evening meal there soon

What a fabulous place. The food was without doubt exceptional. I had a fabulous moroccan chicken salad and my son had the soup and chicken caesar wrap and without hesitation they were the best dishes either of us have had in a while. Service was spot on surroundings were spotless and so relaxing. This is now top of my list for food in the limerick region. Well done everyone and long may you continue serving such fabulous food

Stopped in for what we thought would be a quick coffee and were pleasantly surprised that the place seemed to be a chic-vibed upscale cafe/ restaurant. Not sure what category it falls into but we had kombuchas and handmade Irish chocolate and also purchased some local raw milk and an Irish made candle. Loads of products to taste and take home for later. We'll be back.

This is a fabulous amenity in Croom with a beautiful river walk, children's playground and a really lovely cafe/restaurant.
Breakfast is fabulous with a great selection as is the lunch menu. We had the burger (one of the best we've had) fish and chips and a selection of other food on the menu. All were beautiful except the stir-fry, it was awful, way too much chilli and a very strong taste.
Otherwise we're all looking forward to returning
Service is excellent and very friendly.
I would highly recommend this cafe/restaurant

Service was a farce, not enough staff. Took an age for the order to be taken and even longer for the food to arrive. Forgot some orders and the food that did arrive was mostly cold. This place is not cheap so you would expect better. Not a restaurant to arrive at if you are any way hungry. Terrible Mothers Day experience.
I would like to add that we had lunch here six days earlier and it was excellent but that was in the afternoon and was not busy. Will not be returning.

Stopped in with the kids for tea, coffee, ice cream. I ordered a pavlova and the cream was gone off once I got it. No big deal, these things happen, however there was no apology from anyone and no offer of a refund for the dessert I returned uneaten. The manager was not very pleasant as we were ordering anyway but this was worse again when I politely returned my food. I had to go up to the till as we were leaving to request a refund which was given, however once again without apology. Wouldn’t return.
