For some reason I'd never seen this place before despite being relatively local and spending loads of time in the area over the years. Really nice food, good range, nice drinks and cakes not your run-of-the-mill cafe. Nice little warm stop for a winters day in the Peak. Will be back soon!

We decided to try out breakfast before exploring the area and were so happy we did. The food is so good we returned for lunch the next day then returned to buy take-away mince pies and freshly made mushy peas to have for dinner in our holiday rental for dinner. We will be returning for breakfast tomorrow. Very warm and... More

This is a marvellous place. We visited Eyam as a family with two young boys, to see the hall and learn about the plague, and needed lunch in between visits. The staff at the cafe were very welcoming, there was something for everyone, from hungry eat-anything boys to a semi-vegetarian adult, and it was all home-cooked and freshly prepared. Not... More

Friendly (and dog friendly) service. Excellent food, including vegetarian options. Drinks and cakes consistently superb. Only problem might be finding a seat but worth waiting for. Menu is more interesting than many cafes.

Dropped in for a light lunch while in Eyam. I ordered a goats cheese tart and my (meat-loving) partner a toasted sandwich. Both came with house slaw and a mixed salad. We were both totally delighted by the care that went into everything, particularly the salad. So often it's lettuce+cucumber+tomato, but this had radish, dried cranberry, pumpkin seeds etc etc.... Whilst visiting 'Thehuteyam', my girlfriend and I decided to walk around and explore this little village. We had to time to spare so decided to have a coffee. We spotted this tiny little tea room and thought it looked like a nice place to stop. And we're glad we did. A beautiful little place that looked fresh, clean and very... More

We enjoyed coffee and cake and the goats cheese tart. It's a lovely coffee shop. We had visited it some years ago when we last visited Eyam and were not disappointed.

Stopped here on my way to the airport and what a grateful surprise. Lovely place to have coffee and lunch, enjoy the sun and catch up with friends. Great service and really tasty food. If you are looking for a quiet and chilled place this is the pinnacle.

We visited on a week day and found it very busy, inside and out. We had the veggy option with salad. The salad was not the usual iceberg lettuce, slice of cucumber and tomato but a selection of tomato, peppers nuts, pulses and chopped up fruit. etc. very tasty and so was the coffee. Nice coffee decent sized mugs. Friendly... More

We called in here for lunch following a visit to the Eyam Museum, and I'm very glad we did. It's often hard to find places which cater for vegetarian, but this certainly did, with a good choice of home-cooked food, very good value. My coffee was excellent too! This place would be hard to beat. If we lived locally we'd... More
