We are trying to work our way round Hall and Woodhouse pubs so this was next in our list. Was a little cold as we say by the door but was a lovely atmosphere and a cosy country pub.

Stopped by after booking a table online, which was easy. The staff were very attentive and quick to serve us. We had veal stroganoff which was lovely with loads of flavour. Would recommend.

Have passed this thatched pub on many occasions but finally stopped by. Pleasant interior - log fire, exposed wooden beams, lots of wartime memorabilia. Toilets all clean and tidy. Staff quite young and lacking some customer service finesse in places. Coffees good, plenty of choice...More

The worlds end is a lovely looking old style Dorset pub with wooden beams and an open fire. There is a good selection of beer, and the staff were friendly and efficient when we visited for a mid week lunch. We were shown to our...More

We met family for a meal, fish and chips, £12.50, thin dry fish and a tiny spoon of mushy peas defiantly not worth the money, its dull, who wants candles for light at lunch ?. Hall and wood house need to get there act together,...More

We called into the World’s End tonight for a meal at short notice. The front of house were very friendly and although we had not booked we were greeted with friendly staff. The menu was extensive, probably a bit to adventurous to be honest as...More
