Excellent!, to put in one word, certainly worth to visit again in the future. We have had a lunch, lobster soup as starter, lobster thermidor (a la Paris) accompanied with a very nice glass of white wine from Germany (award winning) and a seasonal dessert made of a combination with cherries and cheese. The was prepared as tasted as how... More

Visited this restaurant last October 2015 for the 3rd time in 5 years. First time great, overwhelming dishes mainly fish, fresh sole. The staff very thoughtful and friendly. The second time as can recall a lobster accompanied with some sensations. I had the slight idea of overcooked, lobster meat should be gentle. This one tended to curiaceous. Knocked by splended... Every year we make a trip to Zeeland to enjoy the Oosterscheldekreeft (=Zeeland lobster). This year we visited the Oesterbeurs, a nice classic restaurant specialized in seafood. The interior looks nice and (most of) the staff is friendly and attentive. We took the 4 course lobster menu. €65 worth of great food! We first got a small dish with a... More

Loved the food and wine and romantic atmosphere. Be aware that the flat oysters are quite expensive.

A shame there is no "six point" category on tripadvisor. I am generally generous and give hôtels/restaurants the benefit of the doubt - but here there can be no doubt. This is a restaurant about which a competing guide would say: Worthy of a special trip. Excellent service (notion that my wife is lactose intolerant was immediately taken on board... More
