Have been here several times and enjoyed the food but tonight it was very poor, luke warm starter and dry tasteless main course. We did inform the waiter about this but he didn't seem too concerned. Probably wont be back which is a shame as we are local

The hotel is situated on waters edge of the Firth of Forth. I upgraded (£15) for a sea view, and can agree that it was worth the extra. Hotel room was comfortable with 2 single beds and well heated. Beds were comfortable. Although not particularly spacious there was adequate space for manoeuvre. Sadly room was rather tired and worn. Bathroom... More

Itison deal for 2 nights excellent value. Had problems with 2nd floor room which was quickly resolved and allocated room on 1st floor. Staff very friendly and work hard. Breakfast very good and service friendly and efficient. Worth a visit to local craft shop which is a tardis once inside and serves good coffee and home baking.

Lower Largo is a great little village on the east coast. The Crusoe Hotel was a 2 night Groupon deal and a great one. The hotel is rather dated but, has plenty of charm- right at the water. Our room had views of the sea, was lovely. Easy access to the beach and especially the lovely fishing villages of Anstruther... More

Our second time at the Crusoe hotel. Itison deal 2 nights B and B and £15 allowance each towards your evening meal on the first night. All for a total of £99 that includes having our westie dog stay as it is a pet friendly hotel. This is an older hotel right on the waters edge, rooms are clean and... More

Only stopped off for a drink here but the views outside are amazing. Interior of bar/lounge area is very comfortable and cosy. There is also an outdoor dining area which I am sure will be well patronised in good weather.

Shame that the staff are mainly kids who are left to their own devices and seem to have no training, they arnt bad but could be sooo much better, food adequate, as the only place to get a meal in village it was capable of more, shame really.

Food never disappoints. The venue is rather small, but there are two sections, a restaurant and the bar as well as a sitting area outside. Tends to be really busy during the summer but well worth a visit

One night stay with the itison offer for £39.00 per night for B&B. The breakfast was lively and couldn't fault the food, this is where the positives End. We were given room 4 which is next to a food preparation room which carried on clancking and banging until 10:30 pm and then woke me up with more of the same... More
