We ate at Wreckers last night. The sea food was excellent, fresh well cooked and presented. Service was first class. We will definitely be eating there again next time we are in the area.

Charlestown is a lovely location and Wreckers is located in a nice spot just opposite the tall ships in the harbour. The atmosphere inside is very nice, with paintings of old ships on the walls, which offsets the more modern interior. Nice coffee, with home...More

We visited this charmingly homely restaurant for an evening meal just before Christmas. Situated near the scenic quay and stunning harbour of Charlestown, no wonder so many film makers choose its location for such series as Poldark. The large open plan restaurant was already busy...More

In a nutshell, the ‘fresh fish cakes’ that I ordered for lunch were microwave defrosted mushy Smash with a token tiny piece of flaked fish added. Virtually uncooked and served Luke warm. Working in the fish industry I know my fish and shellfish very well...More

Lovely little cafe/restaurant in Charlestown. Food was nice, perhaps a tiny bit overpriced but I suspect this is off set for the low season where they don’t get as many visitors. I had a sandwich which was nice and then we had the Cornish cream...More

Went to wreckers for our Christmas night out, quite a good choice of menu ordered in advance. A glass of presecco on arrival so good start. Everyone's starter was large and all piping hot, my soup very good served with vegetable crisps. The main course...More

I don't think Wreckers has dedicated parking but there is free parking on the road leading down to the harbour. There's also a pay and display car park if you can't find a free space.
