We travelled on a dark December evening on curvy wine roads that soon lost the asphalt and turned into dirt roads. Then suddenly up on the hill, this lovely place appeared, We walked a few stairs and there it was, in the middle of no where this warm and cosy restaurant where the proprietor welcomed us on the top of... Beautiful, panoramic location. Exciting menu, classic Langhe/Piemonte with a few twists. Good service, good value. Children welcome. Loved it!

Built as restaurant for the associates of the local wine manufacturer this restaurant has a classic degustation menu to offer together with a selection of local wines and an à la carte choice of dishes that are out of the ordinary. Try the grilled tuna ( yes even in Piemonte!) or the Sirloin tagliata. Very well seasoned, very refined but... More

If you stay at the Cascinone order the tasting Menue. It's a four course Menue for 25 euro , there you could order for 5 euro in addition 4 course wine tastings. Before the Menue they are serving prosecco with a small starter. And after the Menue some sweets/ fruits. Very delicious. The food is very good, the waiters are... More

Rented a few taxis from Acqui Terme for our party to get up to the restaurant, well worth it. View as others have said is extraordinary, enjoyed some prosecco on the terrace before going through to dinner. Meal itself was outstanding and great value. Perhaps most importantly it was a fun place to be; in contrast to the wonderful I... More

Fantastic restaurant and setting, with the most memorable views. The manager Massimiliano is excellent and wants everything to be perfect. It is from the views, food and the wine. All great and good value. Although difficult to find it is well worth the effort. They also have a few rooms to stay next to the restaurant. It really is crawling area.!

We ate here twice in a row, and enjoyed each meal very much indeed. Perhaps surprisingly, given that it is rather out of the way, it was quite busy on both evenings - but I think that says something about the place. Highlights included carpaccio of vitello with lemon and breast of guinea fowl. But it was all good. And... More
