This clean open, airy cafe offers delicious pre-prepared food. The owner was quite gracious in allowing us to share a meal of chicken and potatoes. We were initially attracted to it by an outside kiosk selling fried olives -- a local specialty. Yummy and warming on a chilly, rainy day.

We have always been fans of olive ascolane, but this is the place to eat them and Migliori offers some of the best examples of these deep fried olives. We waited for a fresh batch to come out and then sat at a table outside and enjoyed them!

We've eaten here after a city tour. Olive all'ascolana are awesome and also cremini were very good. Definitively a good place to break the hunger

We ordered some chicken, grilled vegetables, rice salad and couscous. We were brought paper plates with the food on it, and discovered very quickly that there were maggots in the chicken (and lots of it!!). When we told the chef, he just wanted to bring us new chicken, but we declined. He took the plates (with the chicken and also... More

We had high hopes, after reading about the fried olives and even seeing a segment on it on a BBC show, we came away somewhat disappointed. The olives were good, just not as stupendous as we had expected. We also ate lunch inside, but both the porchetta and the roasted chicken were too dry, and sadly could have benefitted from... More

We bought a portion of these delicious stuffed olives to eat while we wandered round this quietly beautiful little town. And then we went back to buy a box of prepard olives that were ready to fry and a large tub in brine that are ready to stuff! All excellent.

We ( family of 9 ) were looking for a place to eat and found Migliori. All the tables indoors and outdoors were occupied, so we decided to get some wine, Olive Ascolane and wait on some benches close by. It was worth it . All of us had a great meal, from different kinds of pasta to their fantastic... More

Migliori was a pleasant surprise find. We were attracted by the wonderful display of food and large selection of wines which we saw from the street. When we walked in to look around, we saw there were a few tables off to the side. Since we were in search of dinner, we thought, Why not? We made an excellent decision.... More

In the beginning, 26 years ago, we started as a wine and delicatessen shop, in the heart of our town center. Later the national magazine "Panorama" reviewed us as one of the 10 top class deli shop in Italy, thanks to our care about quality and range of dishes, products and wines exposed. Few years ago we decided to evolve into a restaurant, where everybody can taste special local food dining in the wonderful Piazza Arringo and bring home special ingredients or gastronomic gifts such as local white or black truffle, good wine and, of course, the precious "Olive Ascolane D.O.P." prepared by hand. This is the speciality of Ascoli Piceno, now protected by the EU's Denomination of Protected Origin: olives without stones replaced by a special filling of meat and parmesan cheese... then crumbed and deepfried! every family in Ascoli has its own secret recipe, and so we do! Talking about our restaurant you will find warm and prepared staff ready to welcome you and eager to explain dishes in details, as long as a great selection of olive oils from the surroundings. As our showpiece are the olive you will be surprised by our pastas and the grilled meat. Our philosophy? First of all the best quality in the dish, at a fair price. Hope to see you soon!
