La Taverna restaurant is tucked inside a side street that one could easily overlook. This is one of the most cozy restaurants with turn of the century style decor. It serves typical Bellunese cuisine and very selective but affordable wine list. Everything is a delight in this place. The service is very cordial and warm, friendly and attentive. Good value... This place was referred to us by the front desk at Hotel Carpenada as a place that served local fare. We had unusual dishes (rabbit and quail) that were very good. The entire meal, including .5l of house wine was only €45! A great value and a quality dining experience. Recommended!

Regional food at his best. Taverna is well known for its signature food. I dine here on a regular basis and it is like taste the old Dolomites' kitchen with a touch of elegance. Polenta and wild games are highly recommended as well as pasta with white duck ragout, which only few restaurants offer nowadays. Decor is simple and refined... More

The food is good, service is even better. The waitress forgot to deliver one of my sides, but it was no problem having it taken off the bill. I had the filet, a bit small, but very well cooked to a nice medium rare without asking. Very good sauce with it. Also had the rice with shrimp and zucchini strips.... More

We really enjoyed the different dishes at this restaurant - unique twists on classics from the region. It seemed to be well-liked by the locals as well.

We visited this restaurant while the rain poured down in the city. We could not have happier with our lucky coincidence! Everything we ordered was delicious and creative. They also have free wifi for their guests and no password required. If you are looking for a typical but unique style restaurant, this is the place to be.

It's an unmissable appointment the one with this typical Belluno restaurant. I have started to attend it years ago for business reasons and are delighted to find exactly the same atmosphere as it was in my memories and feel the same emotions. The variety of food and wine is great. The dishes are simple and delicious at the same time.... More

La Taverna is a nice restaurant located in the city center. They offer nice and tasty typical dishes from Veneto. The wine offer is good too, specially white regional wines and of course prosseco. We really enjoyed a very nice meal there. The service was fine.
