We are not new to this restaurant, being locals, and we decided to return to Il Dubbio to entertain some friends on 30/9/16. The choice was octopus salad, saute of shellfish, a large dish of raw seafood including a variety of oysters clams and razorshells, mixed fried seafood, scampi / langoustine, 1 kilo of pezzogna / seabream baked in salt (for... Visited Castellammare 3 times and it became a must to Visit Il Dubbio every time we go there. Excellent food, friendly atmosphere and value for money.

We chose a plate of scallops, crab and fish, assorted pasta. All products were perfectly seasoned and we liked very much.

Family restaurant close to the port. Average food. The octopus salad was good but the seafood saute was below average. Avoid it. Waiters do not speak English. Service is fast. I would not recommend the restaurant overall.

We were recommended the restaurant by the owner of Europa hotel and what a recommendation! Fantastic fresh beautifully cooked food. We ate like kings and queens (3 courses) had a bottle of Chianti and Prosecco and the bill came to €90. Worth every penny. Thank you for making us very welcome.

We agree that the pizza rocks! We had the Naploletan, simple and delicious with tomato sauce and anchovies. Great spot by the marina. Watch out for the guys charging 2 euros to park on the street.

Select your fish for 40 euro a kilo...which means expensive. Amazing fresh pasta with linguine. The best I ever had. Cheese risoto was also great. The house wine came sour, so they replaced it immediately. Overall 59 euro for dinner. Location on the marina was nice.

We are here last week while staying in Castellammare. I had the "shrimp linguine", which actually arrived with the biggest prawns I've ever seen on the top! And my partner had a pizza. We both enjoyed our meals and would have visited again if it hadn't been the end of our holiday! Brilliant service, very friendly waiters. Reasonable prices and... More
