We ordered sea food salad and dish of fried fish for appetizers and different pasta (lobster, clam and shrimp) and a dish of cod for main meal. Everything was extra salted. The different pasta had all the same sauce; the only difference was head of crab instead of any lobster meat for one, uncleaned meat for the other dish, and... More

We ate twice at Lo Stuzzichino. We shared the gnocchi and the spaghetti with lobster which were both excellent. Our last night in Italy we had the spaghetti nero di seppia--the black squid ink pasta. Fantastic! We were surprised that none of the staff spoke English which hindered our ability to order wine, but the food more than made up... More

We were in Civitavecchia for an upcoming cruise. The hotel receptionist recommended this local establishment over several other recommendations. It was a short walk and definitely worth it. We would have never found this place due to the short time we were in town. We were greeted at the door, shown a table and given menus. Here's a rundown of... More

We had one night in this interesting Italian town before boarding our cruise ship and we had no idea where to eat, our hotel concierge suggested this little restaurant which is away from the dockside and harbour front. We walked there and found it in a very narrow street with the restaurant on one side and a garden on the... More

On a late November night, we were frankly looking for a restaurant that was still open at 9 PM. We came across this little place and had a very good meal. We shared antipasti had lamb, calamari and a very big seafood platter – with deserts coffee and a grappa. The local with wines were outstanding – to the price... More

It is obviously a family restaurant and the welcome was friendly. It was recommended by a local for its fish cookery and we thought it would be special. We had lots of fish but there was nothing special about the taste. It was all just ok and we were disappointed. The other two tables were obviously locals and clearly enthusiastic... More

We set off to go to another restaurant for dinner last night only to find it was closed, so we walked on and found Lo Stuzzichino, the menu looked good so we sat down, being a celiac I asked about the oil they use on their patate al fourno, they said they'd cook them with olive oil, I asked if... Great place where to go for dinner or for lunch if you want to eat some good fish, fresh, well cooked and what complete that is the staff (very friendly and kind, always present but never intrusive). This restaurant is located in the historical center of the city, a very pretty area; they have a good wine, fantastic fresh pizza instead... More

After researching restaurants in this low season we decided to try this one. We were seated at an undesirable table in a very empty restaurant. When we requested a different table we were denied. The server was extremely unhelpful with the menu. Up until now people have gone out of their way to help us. We ended up leaving and... More
