Rio Gere is the name of the stream flowing down the valley; but also a key station for skiers, who can from there tale skilifts to some of the most beautiful skiing slopes of the valley. In other words, not only the restaurant is on the main (mountain) road, but also in between two chairlift stations - and on a... More

We were running late for the slopes and reluctantly decided to eat at this restaurant at the base of Cristallo and Faloria. We were shocked. There were no tourists, only locals and it was packed. The food turned out to be great. We had the local polenta with sausage, gnocchis and carpaccio and ALL were perfect. The drinks were good,... More

Nice place to have lunch while taking a break from a nice ski slope. The food was good and the service was ok. Only recommended if you are skiing in Rio Gere.

This restaurant has a good location and is reachable by car as well, so it is not a typical restaurant on the slopes. Think that they don't want to do anything extra to make the restaurant more inviting, as people come there anyway. The decor is very dull. We took a local dish "Casunziei" and goulash con polenta. The portions... More

We have passed this restaurant many times when crossing from Faloria ski area to Cristallo but never eaten here. We decided to lunch here and booked a table first thing for mid-day. We arrived a little early and it was explained to us that lunch wasn't served until noon which is normal in this ski region. We were shown a... More

Had a medium rare steak which melted in you mouth but the only thing that was disappointing that it was expensive as I had to also order a salad as there was nothing that accompanied the meal. It was summer so we sat outside the restaurant and had a lovely view Cristallo Mountain.

It was a good stop after a night in a Refugio, but there was nothing special about the food. The service was fine, but it seemed overpriced even for the area.
