This was our second visit to Cusina e Butega and it didn't disappoint. We visited for dinner and had the cappelleti to start followed by the risotto ai funghi porcini, both excellent. The service was prompt, there's a good choice of wines and the shop alongside allows you to buy the local specialties.

This restaurant offers a terrific range of local produce all made freshly. We were taken there by suppliers and of course they ordered the best! We had a great starter, I would suggest do not order too much, they are large portions, leave some room for desert.

I was walking in street not feeling well and was no able to cook at my house. So I tried to search a restaurant and all of them were closed, than I arrived at Cusina e Butega and they even if were closed receipt me and made me a perfect food! One of the best I already ate here in... More

From the time you are warmly greeted as you walk through the door until the time you leave you will experience a gastonomic feast with service to match. This is our second visit to Ferrara and we ate several times at this restaurant on both occasions. Whilst it is difficult to rate the dishes because of their exceptional quality we... More

We ate at this restaurant on the recommendation of our B&B, and it was a good choice - so much so that we went there for dinner the next night as well. Cuisine that is typical of the region. We especially like the cappelletti in brodo di capone and the pumpkin gnocchi. Great meat dishes and desserts. The restaurant has... More

Its a good restaurant, with great food, good location and a comfortable local. I have already gone there a lot of time as I live here. But i would only say that the staff is rude. What makes me think 2 times before going back. Causes me the impression they are doing a favor to receive me there. I really... More

I must say the place is quite nice and modern. But unfortunately I didn't have a very pleasant experience. I ordered a chicken thigh and ... after three days I'm still trying to recover from it, probably it was cooked in too much oil or I don't know what, but ... Anyway, the vegetables were nice. My husband had stuffed... More

This is a busy place and it seems to get a lot of locals. Food was a little slow to arrive but I have no complaints as it was good as was the house wine. On top of that it was good value. But would I come back? Probably not, the waiting staff were just so miserable! It wasn’t a... More

We managed to be seated without a reservation but I would advise it. It is the essence of Ferrara cucina. Being truffle season, there are several dishes featuring truffles. The taglierini with butter, Parmigiana and truffles grated on top was fabulous. The owner, Sr. Enzo was very enthusiastic, sharing his extensive knowledge of the cured meats and seasonal ingredients. On... More

This is a great restaurant in Ferrara to have a bite. Typical place where the waiter will give you directly the pot. I would suggest to try pappardelle with duck ragout and since Ferrara as most of Emilia is great with every pork seasoned procedure appetizer composed by affettati is a must. Sometimes it could be noisy because of the... More
