I love Ferrara, and we have enjoyed many visits. This restaurant was always friendly but something has changed...Rude! We asked for a table, no reservation, so we totally understand if there is no room (I’ve owned restaurants, I know), however, the guy at the cash...More

Upon entering this lovely restaurant/store, we were greeted and seated promptly. The waitress spoke some english and we were able to get an english menu. The service was above average by Italian standards; however, the food was disappointingly average. I had the veal alla Bolognese,...More

We ate here twice and absolutely loved it. A great menu with delicious food. The cold meats and cheeses were excellent as were the pasta dishes. Good service and great value local wine by the carafe, also full of locals. Our favorite.More

The last of 10 evening meals on our trip to Emilia Romagna, but one of the best. Great food, great service in a relaxed setting and very reasonably priced. Just a short walk from the castle and Cuomo it's well worth the effort.

Following a friend's recommendation to not leave Ferrara without eating here we had lunch. Well we weren't disappointed. The food, atmosphere and service are all excellent - especially recommend the asparagus risotto.
