Recommended by our rented apartment owner as a decent neighbourhood place to eat. It was. Not spectacular but friendly and charming. Safe choice.

Sometimes you just want to eat earlier than 8 or 9. I was looking at restaurants in Lecce and noticed that this one opens at 7. Super. Needless to say we were the first ones there. The waiters were sooo nice. I ordered a local dish and they said if I didnt like it I could get something else but... More

We wondered in as we were looking for a place to eat. The restaurant is small and very inviting - red check tablecloths and nicely decorated giving it a homey feel. The staff goes between 2 floors and it got very busy, but they don't rush you or make you feel like they are over-worked, tired etc. The food is... More

This place is crowded with tourists and locals because it dishes up good food at reasonable prices with excellent service. You can eat upstairs or downstairs; we were downstairs this time and amazed at the speed and efficiency of the staff to get food upstairs hot. Our meal was quite good with an appetizer, shared primo, and then each of... More

When we arrived only a few tables were occupied, but 30 minutes later the whole place was full. We tried the Angus entrecote and the tagliere con prosciutto di Parma and some local red wine - everything was tasty! Service was great. I would recommend for a nice dinner in Lecce.

We had a late lunch here mid-week and off-season, and sat upstairs in the atmospheric arched dining room. The menu choice is of local dishes in general, and we both struggled to finish our pasta dishes after a shared starter. Would recommend this lovely local trattoria

We were sent here from Roof Barocco B&B when we arrived in Lecce at 9pm and needed somewhere to eat. It was a very good introduction to Lecce, with a varied menu, and very reasonable prices. We had a good bottle of wine for 14€, but you can eat more cheaply if you have their house wines. We shared a... More

My husband and I were sent here after being turned away by another restaurant that was fully booked. We had a very good pesto pasta dish and a super, generous servicing of prosciutto was served to my husband.

My wife and I ate hear on the recommendation of our hotel. What a great little place with excellent local food and a wonderful space. Yes the service was a little slow by American standards but ... we are not in America!! Anyway the staff was attentive enough and the portions were huge. The server was concerned that we left...
