We had a great table in the garden. It started a little bit off. We had trouble with our phones getting the menu. Great cocktails and wine. We started with the seafood sampler. It was about seven different dishes. Followed by seafood linguine.

Based on our experience here, it is very difficult to recommend this restaurant. Whilst the environment is stylish and the setting very pleasant (particularly outside), there were too many problems to make our evening equally enjoyable. Let's start with the good stuff: the attention to...detail front-of-house is exceptional (including the toilets); the only course I had (tuna with speck) was very, very good indeed. The bad stuff: my main course, when it eventually arrived, was not what I had ordered. My wife's main was somewhat bizarre because the parts of the lobster that accompanied her linguini were still in the shell, which made the whole process of eating it very difficult and messy. But the worst was the wait. We arrived at 8.10pm but the (incorrect, in my case) main course did not arrive until nearly 9.30! (To ameliorate this I suggest that you arrive a few minutes before the 8pm opening time, but not 10 minutes before, like we did, because you'll not be allowed in.) To add insult to injury, although we were not charged for my main, there was no reduction in the bill, merely apologies for being short staffed and the offer of a nightcap. We were not alone in complaining, but the staff continued to seat new arrivals, fully aware that things were far from acceptable. I feel that this place puts profit before customer satisfaction.More
Excellent menu! Sublime food! The wine suggested was beautiful. A friendly service! Lovely location!
Great food, atmosphere and service. A little bit off the beaten track but worth it. Would definitely recomment.
Came here on the recommendation of our apartment hosts. Slightly off the beaten track but well worth it.I had pumpkin risotto and my husband had wild boar pasta- both superb. We didn’t book but probably had the last table. Great house wine and excellent value...for money. Do come and try for yourself.👍👍😀More
We had a lovely dinner in this place. We had to reserve a table as the place was quite busy. the first dish ricotta in carrot sauce was divine
I’ve visited a number of times with mixed experience. The service depends a lot on the server and it can be really hard to get attention. Some dishes are great while others are really average. The garden is beautiful in summer though.
A restaurant where food and service complete one another. Both beautifully done. From the moment we walked in till our last steps leaving we're well looked after. A busy Friday night we noticed but the waiter was kind finding the time to stop whenever he...could to check if we were enjoying ourselves. The wine suggested by the young owner while the waiter was simultaneous translating for us in English was gorgeous. The food was beautifully presented and needless to say how good it was. Paying the bill felt like we've had been there before as they treated us with such care and making sure our evening was perfect. Our best experience during our holiday in Italy. A special thank you to the lovely waiter who looked after us.More
We booked on recommendation and we weren't disappointed. The ambiance, food and service were all excellent. The only problem is that we won't have a chance to go back during this visit. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
This restaurant was suggested by Hotel delle Palme and was an amazing surprise. Excellent food, attention to details.
Atmosphere was amazing, service was great (they went over their way) and food was excellent. We had the cured meat antipasti which was enough for 4 people, i had the fruity di mare pasta which was great and my hubby had the pizza. All was...great! Would definetely reccomend :)More
After almost 3 months here in Lecce, we finally got around to going to Nautilus Garden, on a very warm June night. Much more extensive and interesting menu than most Lecce Restaurants. (Note to owner: I think you should have the menu available on-line, as...your extensive menu would be a major drawcard for those who have had enough of the usual Salento fare. I won't be sorry if I never see orecchiette again!). Food, service, etc as good as the best we have had in Puglia. Extensive wine list, with options for every pocket. (This is the only place we found a Vermentino di Galura, very reasonably priced - the region I think produces the best Vermentio wines in Italy). Nothing much more to add, except be sure to bring your mosquito repellent. (Fortunately, the restaurant was able to provide us with this, otherwise we would have been eaten alive). As with most of the best Lecce restaurants, it's not in the Centro Storico, but it's less than 10 min walk from Piazza Sant'Oronzo.More
Great little find as recommend by our Air B&B host. The most beautiful setting, delicious menu and great attentive service. Highly recommend, pizza was to die for! Would return again.
Although this restaurant is in a rather ordinary street in Lecce, once shown through to the beautiful garden you know you are in an extraordinary place. Trees, lights and the 40s, 50s and 60s music make for a romantic and relaxed atmosphere. The food was...excellent ranging from a €4 pizza to pastas, fabulous seafood platters, meats and fish. Very nice staff. Obviously very popular as it was full on a Monday night.More
We were a large party of 11 friends and family. We were expecting a fantastic restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, great food and good service. Well two out of three ain't bad. So how did they let themselves down? It took half an hour to...get drinks and another to place our food order (pizzas all round). We then waited another 45 minutes for the pizza to be delivered (I kid you not). Meanwhile, the beers were warm and had to be sent back to be put in the freezer. The pizzas were lovely, delicious in fact, but two of them did not have the additional toppings as ordered and were sent back by two starving diners. The meal was great. However, the service was embarrassing and we received unwanted apologies from the two friends who recommended the venue. Nautilus Garden, you must do better to deliver professionally and promptly to your customers. You have a great premises and your food is great. Staff management appeared to be lacking on Saturday night and a lack of urgency and promptness sorely lacking from the numerous waiters and waitress on duty. We heard that the owner/manager was away. Was that the problem?More
