Whilst walking along the pier we noticed a quaint little restaurant in a side street. The food was wonderful, we had seafood and pasta - excellent. Staff were very attentive service was great.

Unfortunately we were not satisfyed with both service and food. Service people seemed not very interested in the guests. I ate a piece of meat "ai ferri" and my wife a stuffed squid. Both were akin of good enough. Price is reasonable.

We had spaghetti ai frutti di mare and a fritto misto...awesome, solid Sicilian cuisine. However, it's a trattoria so don't expect Michelin style dinner or 5 star waiters. They are friendly and know enough about food and local wine for you to have a solid Sicilian food experience.

Should be easier to score if we would have 1 to 10. Than would acore an 8. Good and fast service in this small restaurant with tarrace on the sidewalk. Food was more than good for the cost. Really recommended to dine for low coat and get a good quality. Recommended

In asking the hostess at our hotel to recommend a seafood restaurant, she suggested La Casalinga. It was a recommendation I would heartily endorse. The food at La Casalinga was delicious and prices very reasonable. Maybe we were hungry, but the fried baby calamari appetizer was especially tasty. This was followed by breaded stuffed anchovies, wild mushroom ravioli with truffle... More

The staff was quite nice, the restaurant is lovely situated but these are nearly the only good things, I can tell about this place. We had the antipasto di mare caldo e freddo, which sounds or reads better than it's taste: some fried fish, some stockfish, some mussels and other seafood, nearly everything without a special taste except a very... The Best Italian good in town. I would suggest you order some great seafood. Reasonable priced. Friendly service. Great seating outdoors and inside. Come early or expect to wait in line ;) Best food in town.

Down to earth and authentic restaraunt as you can find them everywhere in non or less touristic areas in Italy. The food is not spectacular but worth of its price (10-20 € for the main course). The waiters pay attention to the guests and are quick. I recommend antipasti di mare freddo e caldo.

This trattoria was referred to us as being popular with local people and that there was likely to be a queue on Saturday evening. We arrived just after 7.00pm when it opened. There were a few people already there. We ushered to a table in the second room. The décor was very basic. The service too was basic. A menu... More
